Mission StatementThe mission of the Learning Center is to facilitate students and teachers becoming effective users of ideas and information by providing a coordinated, centralized and economically efficient organization of personnel, resources and equipment, and facilities to meet the current and future needs of the curriculum and interests of the students.

Historical Information
The current Learning Center opened in the 1968-69 school year.
A special archives collection is held in the library with copies of the Budget (school newspaper) and the yearbooks.

Partnerships
The Galesburg High School Learning Center is a member of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System, which makes us eligible for various grants throught out the year, and allows our students to borrow materials from libraries across the state via interlibrary loan.
